Court Marriage’s 3 Steps Process in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, and Other Cities of Pakistan
There are only 3 easy steps of the court marriage process in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Our Nikah Khawan and matrimonial lawyer will begin the court marriage process in the presence of both the bride and groom and two Muslim, adult and sane Muslims.
- The bride signs an affidavit of free will.
- Nikah Khawan will ask for permission from the couple to solemnize Nikah and then ask for Ijabo-Qabool (offer and acceptance) and thereafter recite Khutba-e-Nikah.
- The Nikah Nama Form (the marriage contract) has four copies. Nikah Khawan fills out the Nikah Nama Form and after that, the bride, groom, two witnesses, and Nikah Khawan will sign the Nikah Nama. After signing the Nikah Nama, the Nikah Registrar will put his official seal/stamp to the Marriage on the Nikah Nama, if he is present there otherwise, we will send all four copies of Nikah Nama to his office for the marriage registration and get two copies of Nikah nama back.
Then our matrimonial lawyer will hand over the two copies of Nikah nama to both the bride and the groom and one copy will be forwarded (by the Nikah Registrar) to the Union Council to be kept as official record.

Court Marriage and Civil Marriage: Where Love Meets Legality
Court marriage and civil marriage provide the perfect junction where love and legality converge harmoniously. Through court marriage, couples can embrace a streamlined process that upholds their love with legal recognition. Similarly, civil marriage combines the joyous celebration of their union with the weight of legal obligations. Both court marriage and civil marriage serve as the gateway where couples can forge a strong and lasting bond, intertwining their love with the foundation of the law.

Why A Court Marriage is Considered Better Than A Traditional Marriage?
Court Marriage is a Fully Documented Legal Process
Court marriage is a legal process, fully documented, in which a couple gets married in front of a lawyer, Nikah Registrar, Government deputed Notary Public, or Justice of Peace (Magistrate). In Pakistan and India, court marriage is becoming increasingly popular due to its numerous benefits as compared to traditional marriage ceremonies.
Court Marriage is a Quick and Straightforward Process
One of the most significant benefits of court marriage is that it is a quick and straightforward process that requires less time and money than a traditional marriage ceremony. In a traditional marriage ceremony, several ceremonies and rituals are involved, which can take up to several days and involve significant expenses.
Court Marriage is a Private and Personal Affair
Another advantage of court marriage is that it is a more private and personal affair, as usually, it involves only the couple and the witnesses, though couple’s friends and other guests can be invited. This can be particularly beneficial for couples who do not want to involve a large number of people in their marriage or who want to keep their marriage low-key.
Court Marriage Offers Greater Legal Protection to the Couple
Court marriage also offers greater legal protection to the couple, as it is a legally recognized form of marriage in Pakistan and India. This means that the couple is entitled to certain legal rights and benefits, such as inheritance rights and insurance coverage.
Court Marriage is Accommodating to Couples from Different Religions, Castes, or Communities
Additionally, court marriage can be more accommodating to couples from different religions, castes, or communities, as it is a secular and legal process that does not require any religious rituals or customs.
Court Marriage can be a Safer Option for Couples Who are Facing Societal or Familial Opposition to their Marriage
Lastly, court marriage can be a safer option for couples who are facing societal or familial opposition to their marriage. In some cases, traditional marriage ceremonies can become the site of violence or conflict between families or communities, which can be avoided by opting for a court marriage.
Court Marriage in Pakistan Offers Several Benefits as Compared to a Traditional Marriage
In short, court marriage in Pakistan offers several benefits as compared to traditional marriage ceremonies, including lower costs, greater privacy, legal protection, accommodation of different religions and castes, and safety from societal or familial opposition. However, ultimately the choice between a court marriage and a traditional marriage ceremony depends on personal preferences, beliefs, and cultural norms.

Embrace Love with Court Marriage and Civil Marriage
Embrace love with the power of court marriage and civil marriage, as these two avenues bestow couples with the freedom to celebrate their union on their own terms. Court marriage provides a straightforward and efficient path, while civil marriage offers a meaningful ceremony filled with legal significance. Both court marriage and civil marriage empower couples to solidify their love in a positive and legally recognized manner, fostering a lifetime of happiness and togetherness.
