  1. The bride signs an affidavit of free will.
  2. Nikah Khawan will ask for permission from the couple to solemnize Nikah and then ask for Ijabo-Qabool (“offer and accept”) and thereafter recite Khutba-e-Nikah.
  3. The Nikah Nama (the marriage contract) has four copies. Nikah Khawan fill the Nikah Nama Form and after that, bride, groom, wo witnesses and Nikah Khawan will sign the Nikah Nama. After signing the Nikah Nama, the Nikah Registrar will put his official seal/stamp to the Marriage on the Nikah Nama.

Then our matrimonial lawyer will hand-over the two copies of Nikah nama to both the bride and the groom and one copy will be forwarded to the Union Council to be kept as official record.

Does Pakistan have any laws regarding court marriages?

There is no separate Pakistani law on court marriage. It does not exist or should be required when Article 35, Article 37 and Article 38 are present in Pakistan.
